SACRAMENTO, CA - On Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 9:00 am, members of the California Latino Legislative Caucus will hold a press conference in Room 317 in the State Capitol to highlight the upcoming “National Day of Action for Children” and discuss their unity in standing against Trump Administration policies that rip families apart at the border.

BACKGROUND:  The California Latino Legislative Caucus stands united against ripping families apart at the border. The Caucus is deeply troubled by Trump Administration policies that break up families on American soil. Every day, the Administration is deliberately separating children from their families without regard for the best interests of children. Children have become the victims in Trump’s America. California’s leaders, including those in the Latino Caucus, will not stand by and allow this to be our nation’s story or legacy without a fight.
