Assembly Member Lorena Gonzalez speaks in support of Attorney General Nominee Xavier Becerra

(Sacramento) – Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez (D-San Diego) and the State Assembly have endorsed Governor Jerry Brown’s Attorney General nominee Xavier Becerra. “Throughout his years he has demonstrated great leadership as Deputy Attorney General, State Assemblymember and Member of Congress,” Assemblywoman Gonzalez, who was also speaking on behalf of the Latino Legislative Caucus, told her colleagues before the floor vote. “We’re proud that one of our own, so qualified, has the opportunity to lead this state at such a critical time.”
