Co-Sponsored Event: Policy Briefing on Results of Latino/a Youth Sexual & Educational Research

Description:  California Latinas for Reproductive Justice collaborated with the Health Equity Institute from San Francisco State University in a research project called ELAYO (Empowering Latina/o Youth).  The purpose of this briefing is to highlight findings from the qualitative portion of this project which documented the views and experiences of young Latinos in diverse urban and agricultural California regions regarding reproductive and sexual health and educational concerns. 

Through this briefing ELAYO seeks to draw attention to the health, education and future opportunities of Latina/o youth in California and hopes the findings and recommendations shared, will provide helpful background to inform the development of key California policies that benefit young Latinas/os and other underserved communities throughout the state.
