Hailed as “Latin music’s greatest statesmen” by The New York Times, Los Tigres del Norte are one of the most popular and influential bands in the genre’s history – widely known as ‘The Voice of the People’ for their storytelling corridos that speak out on issues such as immigration, political corruption, migrant rights, strength of family, and cultural tradition.
Across six decades, the family band from Sinaloa Mexico and now longtime citizens of San Jose, have sold millions of albums, charted over fifty #1 singles, won more Grammy Awards (seven) than any other Spanish language recording artist and have been declared “The Top Regional Mexican Group of All-Time” by Billboard. Rolling Stone declared their renowned track “Somos Más Americanos” as “The Top Regional Mexican and one of the Top 5 Greatest Spanish Language Songs of the 21st Century.”
