California Latino Caucus to Host Annual Latino Spirit Awards

WHAT:            

The Latino Spirit Awards were created by the Latino Caucus in 2002 at the State Capitol in Sacramento to highlight positive role models within our diverse Latino community. 

 

Every year, the Latino Caucus honors Latinos in a variety of categories that range from journalism to public service and community empowerment. Many of the honorees are pioneers in their respective fields and have overcome tremendous obstacles, rising to become role models and community leaders.

 

The honorees will be acknowledged on each floor of the legislature for their significant contributions.
