CA Latino Legislative Caucus to Hold Media Tele-Briefing on Unaccompanied Immigrant Minors Held at Naval Base Ventura County

VENTURA COUNTY – On Tuesday, July 8th, 2014, members of the California Latino Legislative Caucus will tour Naval Base Ventura County, where undocumented, unaccompanied children are being held. They requested a visit to the facility to see the conditions the children are experiencing while being detained. There will be a teleconference briefing held after the visit to report on what they saw and actions that can be taken to help address this humanitarian crisis.
