Este cuerpo legislativo tiene 40 años de historia en fortalecer y mejorar  la vida de los hispanos en California. Trabajan para identificar, promover y defender los intereses profesionales, educacionales, sociales, políticos y culturales de la comunidad latina.

Latino Caucus Information Briefing on Comprehensive Immigration Reform

The Latino Legislative Caucus hosted an informational briefing at the State Capitol to provided information and hear from the public their thoughts on the immigration reform debate.  Various presenters provided a historical narrative and current analysis of comprehensive immigration reform from policy experts, business leaders, and community organizers.

Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva Works to Restore Cal Grants with Latino Caucus in Full Support

Fullerton - California State Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Fullerton) and Latino Caucus Chair Senator Ricardo Lara (D-Long Beach), along with other legislators held their first outreach to Orange County at CSU Fullerton. The legislators discussed issues like access to health care, good paying jobs, safe communities and education.
