Also co-hosting the event are the Asian & Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus, Legislative Black Caucus, LGBT Legislative Caucus, and Jewish Legislative Caucus.
As the national conversation on immigration continues to evolve, California is poised to be a leader in embracing its 2.5 million undocumented immigrant population. Measures that grant driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants and protect families from deportation, such as the TRUST Act, could set a national example.
Please join Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas for a reception, panel discussion about California bills that will advance immigrant rights, and special screening of his deeply personal film, "Documented."
